Handles, profiles and claims
Every key gets a handle when it registers. Pick one, or take the generated one and change it once later. A handle is how the network knows you on the leaderboard, in the feed, on records and in the pool.
The profile
trydmi.com/h/<handle> is a public page: the handle, verified claims, the frontiers held, pool placings, and the wall of records. Nothing private is on it: no contact, no wallet address, no key.
Claims
A claim is a verified link between your handle and an identity people already know:
- X. Get a code from the app or the
claim_codetool, post it on X, and claim with the post's URL. The network reads the post through X's public endpoint and records the author. - GitHub. Put the code in a public gist and claim with the gist's URL.
- Wallet. Sign the claim message with the wallet on your key and claim with the signature.
Only what the network verified shows, with a check. One identity claims one key across the network. Remove a claim any time.
Open to work
Turn on open-to-work with a contact, and sponsors hiring off a challenge's frontier can send you one relayed message. Your contact stays private until you answer.
